Herons’ Moor welcomes St Giles Trust to raise safety awareness

Herons’ Moor Academy recently welcomed a special visitor from the St Giles Trust, a national charity that works with young people through to adults, offering support, guidance and education to help them make positive life choices.

Nathaniel, from the Trust, delivered an engaging and thought-provoking talk to the school’s older children.

His session focused on the dangers of becoming involved in gangs and offered practical advice on how to stay safe, make positive choices, and contribute to the local community as responsible citizens.

A spokesperson for the school said: “We were delighted to welcome Nathaniel to Herons’ Moor Academy.

“His talk was inspiring and gave our pupils valuable insight into the importance of making safe, positive decisions.

“At Herons’ Moor, we want our children to grow not only as learners but also as responsible members of society, and opportunities like this really support that mission.”
