Heron’s Moor pupils become foresters for the day

Pupils at Heron’s Moor Academy had the great adventure of becoming foresters.

They spent an amazing afternoon getting back to nature, exploring the school grounds, and learning all about the season of autumn.

Children delighted in discovering conkers, observing the changes in the environment, and creating their very own natural art pictures using leaves, sticks, and twigs.

This activity not only encouraged creativity but also deepened pupils’ understanding of the natural world.

A spokesperson for Heron’s Moor Academy said: “It was wonderful to see our pupils so engaged with the outdoors.

“Activities like these help them to connect with nature, use their imagination, and develop a real appreciation for the changing seasons.”
