Reception Admissions
If you are interested in your child joining our school in September, please contact North Somerset school admissions. You can also email the school and we will readily assist with enquiries you may have.
Year 1 -6 Admissions
If you have recently moved to the area or would like more information about your child coming to Herons’ Moor Academy, joining later than the September reception intake, or for years 1-6, please contact the Academy.
Nursery Admissions
You can apply from when your child is 2 years and 36 weeks old.

| 1 January to 31 March | Term starting on or after 1 April | 15 January to 28 February |
| 1 April to 31 August | Term starting on or after 1 September | 15 June to 31 July |
You can apply outside of these recommended dates but you might not receive your code in time. You must have a valid code by the end of the month before a new term starts.
Entitlement
Your eligibility depends on:
- if you are working
- your income (and your partner’s income, if you have one)
- your child’s age and circumstances
- your immigration status
If you are not a working parent you will now be able to purchase additional 3 hour sessions alongside your existing 15 hours of care entitlement.

Normal morning sessions will be 9.00 a.m.- 12.00 noon. Afternoon sessions will be 12 noon – 3.00 p.m. 30 hours of childcare would be 9.00am – 3.00pm
